Ed's Notes: So put a Daxamite under a yellow sun and you get a Double-Strength Supereman. Physically anyway. Basically, Superman +1 accross the board... Sort of. See rather than Kryptonite, which is one of teh rarest substances on Earth and pretty much anywhere else in the galaxy, aside from the red star where the planet used to be, Daxamites are vulnerable to LEAD; one of the most common substances in the GALAXY.  So... SUPERMAN... But I can just SHOOT HIM. With a GUN. From EARTH.

2nd Edition actually rated them slightly LESS powerful than Superman, and the stats given for Lar Gand (Valor) reflected this.  NOt sure if this is till cannon, but at one point Valor was definitely stronger and faster that Superman. (And just as tough, though somehow not BULLETPROOF.)
