Telescopic Vision
__________________________________________Class: Mental Link: Int
Range: Special Type: Auto
Base Cost: 5 Factor Cost: 1
Description: This Power allows a Character to see objects at a distance/ When using Telescopic Vision to view a distant object, a Character is allowed to subtract the AP's of Power from the distance to the viewed object, the result being the apparent distance between the Character and the object.
Example: A Character with Telescopic Vision of 5 AP's is looking at an object 6 AP's distant. Using this Power, the Character will see the object as if it were only 1 AP away from them.
Objects the size of a car are generally visible at one unobstructed mile (10 AP's,) while man-size objects are visible at one-quarter mile (8 AP's,) and a small, hand-held item (such as a calculator) might be visible at 150 feet (4 AP's).
Superman has this Power.

Ed's Notes: See Flight for more discussion about the discrepancy between 6-7 AP's: Basically, 200 yards and 1/8 of a mile are approximately the same thing. So... GM's discretion there.)
