Ed's Notes: This is a version Power Girl that was nerfed a bit after she was "killed" by the Gray Man during the Teasdale Imperative. I mentioned in the other entry that I do not consider THIS version to be official, but it might make for an interesting power-complications (or death) sub-plot, to use this character temporarily.
She was not killed by the Gray Man during the Teasdale Imperative. He severely injured her and it required the help of Superman to save her life in surgery. This caused a reduction in her powers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the clarification. I missed that story-line back in the day and wasn't clear on the details, beyond what was included in the Who's Who. (Which isn't much.)
DeletePersonally, this version was interesting. It is more challenging to play a weaker character. Timothy is quite correct, Power girl was dying and needed surgery, but the Doctors could not penetrate her skin, so they called on Superman to help using his heat vision.
