Ed's Notes: Easily the most hapless, recurring villain in the DC Universe.  Has been defeated by even comic relief heroes. It's hard to imagine that he made his debut trying to take on the Silver Age Justice League. 2nd Edition Sources leave the Bonus and Limitations off of his suit, and omit his Drawbacks as well.  The BG/RB omits the suits illusion power, but the JLSB includes it.

  1. You do have a point Ed. But if you read Identity Crisis they explain why the guy has become more or less a whipping post. The JLA ( Zatanna specifically), lobotomized him. Which I believe explains why now he is such a failure as a villain. Its a great story. Also not all of the JLA were agreed with this course
    of action.
The Batman discovered the plot and was subsequently victimized by Zatanna as well via group vote. Its implied that Superman knew but pretended not to know. I don't believe that Wonder Woman was apart of this plot. Its a great read. So by the time he is the leader of the Fearsome Five the stats above is what he had been reduced to.
