Ed's Notes: So... I hate to ruin your grandfather's childhood, but you DO realize that a lot of Golden Age comics were little more than war propaganda, right? ;)
Also, kick ass Alex Ross painting, but I have no idea why he's so BIG. He doesn't have the Growth or Illusion Powers that I am aware of.
Also... That Miscellaneous Drawback... So... Maybe THAT'S why we haven't seen him in a while? COME BACK, UNCLE SAM, WE NEED YOU! COME BACK!

Has anyone pondered how Uncle Sam would be affected by the 30th century political situation, where all Earth has a single govermnent?ReplyDelete
I've got to imagine that his powers would have all but disappeared by TODAY (2020) just based on how extreme, partisan and divided the country has gotten.Delete
This is a interesting character concept. But even in the 2020 there are still many people who believe in the higher ideas that America has never reached. I would doubt that his power would have disappeared because of partisan division.ReplyDelete
I think we need or uncle these days.ReplyDelete
