Ed's Notes: See... Now THIS? Is cool! I like characters like THIS. Lightning Lass and Sun Boy are the reasons that I wanted to comeback and DO the Legion of Superhero Characters. This guy would fight right into a Titans or even Mid-Level JLA/JLI campaign, assuming the GM can come up with a reason (and WAY) for him to BE in the 21st Century.
2nd Edition omits his Martial Arts Skill and Flame Being Power. He also get the Strange Appearance Drawbacks, related to the destruction of the powersphere and his being placed in the Weisinger Chambers by the Dominators. It however omits the Public Identity and Uncertainty Drawbacks.
First Appearance: Action Comics #276 (May, 1961) |
Part of the Legion WAS stranded in the 20th century as its end was impending. As I recall, DC credited Gates for starting the UPS strike at the time: "Are we going to let them crush us like Khundish vassals, or are we going to ORGANIZE?"
