Source: DC Heroes Newsletter, Q2 1992
Ed's Notes: Not exactly a DC character, but they owned !mpact Comics, and Mayfair did up some of these guys in their newsletter, so here you go! The Newsletter doesn't say what the Fly Amulet is for. Does he need it turn into the Fly? Is he a 2/2/2 Physical, with no Powers without it / when he's not the Fly? Shouldn't that be a Drawback? Either Alter Ego or Power Loss? Help me out, folks. Because this write-up has to be incomplete. Lol
Update: Based on the comment below from RTM2301, I would add the following to this writer:
Drawbacks: Alter Ego (Controllable); Married; Miscellaneous: Without the Fly Amulet, he cannot change into the Fly or back into his Alter Ego
...and then write-up something for the Alter Ego.
First Appearance: The Fly #1 (August, 1991) |
Jason does need the amulet to change to and from the Fly, but not to remain the Fly once changed. Whwn he lost it as the Fly, he couldn't revert to Jason Troy. WORG has a more extensive writeup. The Fly also married Maria de Guzman, the Jaguar.
ReplyDeleteOk, interesting. Good to know. Thanks! I'll update the notes once I do an entry for Jaguar (who I have a source for.)
