Ed's Notes: This entry is for the original, Golden Age guardian. And although it's not cannon, if I were running him in a game, I'd have today's Guardian be a clone of this one. BTW... Those kids in the Newsboy Legion grew up to become the Scientists (and others) at Cadmus! (Though they be a little too old now, for that...)

Ed's Notes: Although it's not cannon, if I were running him in a game, I'd re-imagine him as a clone of, and slight improvement over his WWII-era counterpart. I really dig that Alex Ross-esque picture. (Haven't been able to confirm is if it was Ross or not, but it rocks his style.) 2nd Edition Gives his Shield an EV of 8, but omits the Energy Blast.
