2nd Edition Sources stat out the Emerald Eye very differently. I prefer the fully realized character of the 3rd Edition. The 2nd Edition, which I don't recommend using, has it in his equipment:

Very powerful, yes, and definitely more versatile, but less interesting, IMHO, that the 3rd edition version.
