Ed's Notes: I really need a top ten list of worst/goofiest Batman villains that Mayfair bothered to stat out. (Remember folks: They did THIS GUY, but left of FUCKING BANE!) A good dopey villain to use in a "practice" game or cold-opener with first time player. Because... What's the threat? Seriously.

  1. Well, to be fair, the Batman RPG came out in 1989 to cash in on the Timothy Burton movie, Bane wasn't created until 1993 or so, so he wasn't really an option.

I actually like the goofiness of some of the villains though, since it's a great break from using the more depressing characters and situations. This guy sure worked well for that! Didn't care for the later serial killer versions of him, since there's more than enough serial killers out there to use. Jury is still out on his current aging and de-aging with the seasons versions.

    1. Valid, but I was also referring to the fact that Bane was left out of the 3rd Edition entirely, which included Doomsday and the Four Superman of the "Reign of the Supermen" storyline. That was late 1993-'94 and Bane had been around for at least as long as Doomsday was. (Yeah, 1993 was a bad year for Heroes, huh? They all but killed off Hal Jordan that year as well. Lol)

    2. And, yes, I also like the goofy villains! :) They're a big part of my motivation for compiling all this. ;)
