Ed's Notes: Mayfair did a really thorough job with the ADCU.  They wrote up an entire history of Atlantis, including several of the major characters from ancient time. Atlan was a son of Honsu the Conqueror. It was his discovery of the surface dwellers in ancient Egypt and Greece that led to his father's attempted conquest of them. In spite of being the greatest warrior of the three brothers by far, he would have no part of this war and left Atlantis in protest of it.  (I cannot say if the rest of his story plays out like that of King Atlan of the 2018 Aquaman film.)

Ed's Notes: Mayfair did a really thorough job with the ADCU.  They wrote up an entire history of Atlantis, including several of the major characters from ancient time. Prince Kraken was the son of Honsu the Conqueror. As one of Honsu's Generals in his war against the surface dwellers of ancient Greece and Egypt, Kraken led the assault of Ancient Greece. It was initially successful, but Kraken was killed in ritual single combat, which led to the Atlantean's retreat.
