Ed's Notes: This is the unit that Mister Miracle trained with on Apokolips.  At present, he's not as physically strong, but net and net kicks a lot more ass than these guys do on average. Still... Remember... This is the unit that Mister Miracle trained with on Apokolips!

Ed's Notes: Can I just file this under "Don't ask?" No? Ok. Short Version...

Funky Flashman conned Mister Miracle into working for Manga Khan. While MM was gone, MK replaced him on Earth with this shitty robot duplicate. And this miraculously worked. Until Despero destroyed the robot. Well... It STILL worked, actually. They though he was dead.  (Earth's greatest detectives they are NOT, I guess.) Until he came back from the Cluster. Confused, no doubt.

And no, that picture isn't right.  Just the closest thing I could find.

Ed's Notes: I love this this character (his original con being acting as Mr. Miracle's "promoter") was created by Jack Kirby to get even with Stan Lee by parodying his on the pages of DC after his acrimonious departure from Marvel.  I realize the two later reconciled, buy if there is any doubt that he was based on Kirby's impression of Lee at the time, check out one of the older pictures, from the early years:

GREETINGS, HEROES! Lol.

Gadgetry: 9
Martial Artist: 8
Scientist: 6
Thief: 12

Advantages: Connections: Justice League International (Low), New Genesis (Low), Scott Free (High); Genius; Insta-Change; Lightning Reflexes

Drawbacks: Secret Identity

Alter Ego: Shilo Norman
Motivation: Thrill of Adventure
Occupation: Student/Performance Artist
Wealth: 4

Equipment:
MIRACLE COSTUME [Body: 6, Bomb: 7, Cling: 5, Danger Sense: 6, Energy Blast: 8, Force Field: 8, Jumping: 5, Magnetic Control: 5, R#: 2] Bonus: Force Field can be used to trap others: Use AP's of Power vs. Dex/Dex. RAP's indicate that target is trapped by 0 AP diameter bubble that cannot be moved. Can be used on multiple targets, with 0 AP diameter. Can float or be on the ground. Requires 1 automatic action per phase, and he must stay with 8 AP's of the bubble.

Aero Discs [Body: 12, Flight: 8] Limitation: Control by Mother Box and will not function if she is taken away.

Mini-Transmitters (x4) [Body: 1, Cling: 1, Telepathy: 13, R#: 3] Limitations: Telepathy represents range of signal. Will not work without Mother Box.

Multi-Cube [Body: 3, Int: 2, Flash: 5, Flight: 7, Heat Vision: 9, Illusion: 5, Telepathy: 15, Recall: 10, Sonic Beam: 9, R#: 2] Cube can release a cable with Str: 9, Body: 1 and a length of 5 AP's; Flight only allows the Cube itself to fly; Telepathy represent range of communicator signal with Mother Box

MOTHER BOX [Body: 7, Int: 10, Will: 6, Mind: 6, Infl: 6, Aura: 6, Spirit:  6, Danger Sense:  12, Life Sense: 6, Omni-Power:  11, Hero Points: 75] Advantages: Leadership; Is not subject to Take-Away maneuvers because she's been integrated into the hood of his costume.

Ed's Notes: Gah. I really can't stand characters like this: Unnecessary side-kicks who are basically watered down versions of the original. I do give most of the Titans a pass on this, but this guy just seems pointless, seeing as how Scott Free already HAD a partner in Big Barda. DC does this a lot, and to it's detriment I think.

JLI SIGNAL DEVICE [Body: 4, Telepathy: 25] Limitation: Device's Telepathy power represents the range of it's signal

11 AP ABCD Omni-Gadgets (x5)

Source: Who's Who, 3rd Edition; 2nd Edition Background/Roster Book, page 44; Justice League Sourcebook, pages 40-14;  Apokolips Sourcebook, pages 26-27

Ed's Notes: So he likes the big girls, huh? ;) Another interesting concept for a hero that might have made a m ore stereotypical villain. I'm not sure how being an escape artist helps you fight crime, but I could see ESCAPING FRO PRISON to be a useful skill for a villain. Although... It's not like prisons in the DC Universe are that hard to escape from anyway, it seems. LOL. 2nd Edition sources varyingly omit the Multi-Cube, Mother Box, Signal Device and Buddy (Oberon). The Apokolips Sourcebook gives his Scientist:7, but no other sources do, so I believe this was in error.

Ed's Notes: I like her a LOT better than Mr. Miracle. He's a master of escaping, she a master of KICKING THE EVERLOVING SHIT OF PEOPLE.
