Ed's Notes: The stats above are for the "Average" Wildebeest, as many have been created, and are controlled by a central mind, with the same stats.  After the villain was defeat a baby (?) version was raised by the Titans and quickly grew into adulthood and was made a member of the team.  The stats above could be used as the basis for such a PC, though the GM may wish to lower the Int, and remove the Medicine and Scientist Skills, since these (presumably) came for the central brain/mind and do not appear to have been passed on. Plus he has the personality of an infant and can apparently be hit hard enough to be forced back into infant form? Yeah, OK. A bit of a weird one, but there you go.  The stats above are meant for the villain, who's made many duplicates, and has used them to do things like  frame the Titans for "killing" him, etc...

Ed's Notes: Ugh.  So these guys are three relatively low-rent criminals of the "Flash Rogues Gallery" variety: Ordinary dudes who got hold of a cool toy.  There are three of them, but they dress the same and use the same name and so have fooled everyone into thinking they were all one person. (Until on of them DIED and the other two kept going. Lol)  I'm honestly not sure if they share the same, single Trident, or if they have three and each one has their own.  Anyone know? Lol. They're former members of H.I.V.E., and ARE admittedly heads-and-shoulder above the average H.I.V.E. mook.  (Did the Trident come from H.I.V.E.? Why don't more members of H.I.V.E. have them?) Anyway, more research is clearly needed on my part, but they are no longer with H.I.V.E. in any case.  Between that and the three-in-one aspect of the character(s) there could be some interested story potential for lower powered characters in a more caper-driven story line.

BTW... No stats were published on the Aero-Disks in the very first picture above. How is he flying?! Also... They serious called the one black dude "Black Trident?!" Come on, man!

Ed Note: Just confirmed... They each have their own Trident. Lol.

Ed's Notes: THIS is a cool character. Arguably one of the best things to come out of the Teen Titans story-line.  Could be challenging, yet really rewarding, to work her into a long term campaign as a PC, especially if she's played well, but could be so worthwhile for a patient GM. Plus her powers are really highly rated, for a Titans character.

Also I don't usually use fan art if I can help it, but this piece by Rachel1466 on deviantART totally rocks, and I'm really not a fan of either her earlier, 1980's look, nor her more recent versions.

Ed's Notes:  Le epic *jaw drop*

So... Raven is supposed to eventually defeat THIS?! Um... yeah... goodluckwithat.

Could defeat Darkseid, Ares and Doomsday combined...

...and it would be easy.

BTW... Did my best interpreting the "Mystic Link" in the sourcebook entry. Control: 50 didn't get an asterisk, but had the words "Mystic Link:" spelled out after. Mental Blast and Teleportation did NOT get Mystic Linked, but somehow SORCERY did? (Pretty sure SORCERY is ALWAYS Mystical.) Anyway, goofy entry, but it's what the above info was based on, with me only correcting what I believe are typo's, and not changing any of the actual content.

Source: New Titans Sourcebook, page 100

Ed's Notes: I don't know about "Would'Be Conqueror." Seems like "Trumped up, over-glorified bank robber" would be more accurate.  He created Captain Calamity are an illusion, but sometimes assumes that role while making Esper the illusion. BTW... Completely useless against any team without a "psychic" on it - which I would interpret as almost anyone possessing Mental Powers. Telepathy for sure, but Pre- and Post Cognition, Telekinesis, Mind Probe, Mind Blast/Drain, maybe even Phobia.  GM's discretion.

Ed's Notes: OK, couple things... First off, while i usually don't go for the old-timey pictures if there is a (or are) more modern version(s) of the character. The weird thing in this case is that all of the more modern (or retro) versions kind of hearken back to the spirit of this original (dated, goofy) design. They are just updated to be exaggerated versions of the decades they appear in.

Also... Kind of a poor character entry, since it gives NO indication of how to use the character. And, no, don't see "evil fashion designer" and this fuckin' ZOOLANDER. (Although... Wow. That could actually work too!)  Originally his shtick was that he would design stage costumes for famous rock stars and use these to smuggle goods from the UK to the US and back.  And if any of the swag was ever found, the musician would get framed for it. Which is... kind of clever, in a comic anyway. (How does a guy who's only famous enough to gain a wealth of 6 end up designating for rock stars, you ask? HUSH, YOU!)

Yes. This is a weird one, for sure.  Could be fun though, if handled correctly.

Why was it trapped in a computer?  Best not to ask questions I guess.  In any case, it can manifest all of your worst nightmares and is nigh indestructible.  Pretty badass final boss, if Mister Twister is the disc one boss.

BTW... This is the guy who created the reluctant villain team Hybrid.  And if the Titans were to come after him for that, he could pose a truly awesome threat. Considiering his treatment of Hybrid, he's... a bit of a dick.

At lease they've updated her wardrobe a bit...

Source: New Titans Sourcebook, pages 84-85

Ed's Notes: Basically a slightly nerfed, female version of Aqualad. (Himself a nerfed version of Aquaman. Lol)  I feel like she should have the Swimming Power, at 6 or 7, just at or below Aqualad's level.  I'm a huge fan of Aquaman, personally, and I could see her being a REALLY interesting character for someone to run long-term and develop through Hero Points.  A TON of potential here.

(please don't hate me for what i am about to write)

Now... I've got to get a bit shallow here, wallow in a bit of being a dumb man, and this time I am not making fun of the HERO themselves. No. I LIKE this character! But I have to say that the way she is drawn NOW is a HUGE improvement over some past renderings.  The costume, yes, but really the girl herself.  Considering how the average comic book artist tends to draw even average people more unrealistically than even Hollywood CASTS them... Is it just me, or does she look... downright homely here?

And I'm not trying be shallow. I truly believe that all women are beautiful, but compared to how super-heroine's tend to be drawn?  SHE A BUTTER-FACE! (But... Why?!)  And then there's this version:

Again... Not trying to body shame here. Legit. Super-heroines are arguably the worst offenders when it comes to projecting unrealistic body images, whether in Comic Books or in Hollywood. But... It IS still a super hero comic and... DAMN! She THICK! Just sayin'.

Sometimes that makes sense. I mean... If Big Barda was represented any other way than being built like a Brick Shithouse? Then, yeah, I'd be calling bullshit.  And I do legit applaud characters like Valiant's Zephyr/Faith, because, YES, there should be plus-sized super-heroes. (I would LOVE to adapt her to DCH!) But unless that's part of the character's specific appeal? It's just a bit visually jarring, especially in older comics, when it appeared that Etta Candy was the only Big Girl in the entire DC Universe! Lol. (At least until Amanda Waller came along.)

I just had to say my piece on that because I found MANY different representations of the character when I was looking for pics (putting aside that at least three different people have carried this mantle) and when I came across those last two (which ironically I found first) I couldn't help but think, "Well shit, no one's gonna want to play the ugly one or the fat one!" AND THAT MAKES ME A TERRIBLE PERSON! (I'm sorry.) :(
