Ed's Notes: I'm finding a lot of interesting "forgotten" villains in the modules. And I like that. I like having entries of obscure characters that actually come from material published by Mayfair. And the module Come On Down literally features a team CALLED "The Forgotten Villains!" That's perfect! This guy is CLASSIC Silver Age, through and through. He's about as Silver Age as it's gets. And while very few people could tell you anything about him, like EVERYONE has seen him, and kind of recognizes him. He looks familiar, in any case. A stone cold Silver Age CLASSIC.

First Appearance: Strange Adventures #124 (January, 1961)

And the module, Come On Down, literally features a team CALLED "The Forgotten Villains!" That's perfect! This thing is a BEAST - RV of 20, one column higher than Superman's! (Which should offset the Growth Penalty to his OV. That still applies, when Always On, yeah?) I feel like in 3rd Edition, it wouldn't have any mystical stats. I suppose he could be considered sentient, but it really isn't, as it's at the mercy of whomever possesses its Control Ring. That's Mr. Poseidon at the moment. At one point Atom-Master had it, and it would be possible for a PC to get a hold of it - though they shouldn't be allowed to keep it, unless it was the plan all along to make a new character that would be like a Hogarth Hughes to this Iron Giant. In any case, Ultivac would be immune to any direct Character Interaction (It CAN'T BE REASONED WITH!) due to him being control remotely. Now... Character Interaction against whomever is using the Ring? That's a different story!

First Appearance: Showcase #7 (April, 1957)

Mr. Poseidon is a pointy-eared creep with around five magic rings (which the module doesn't capitalize, so... they are subject to takeaway?) at any given time, and who can control the incredibly powerful robot, Ultivac. (Also... Who are the Sea Devils?!)

And ONCE AGAIN, we have a "genius" villain who can LITERALLY make Gold and Diamonds with his mind, and rather than STOPPING THERE and just DOING THAT, he uses these things to finance crimes where he can... wait for it... STEAL FUCKING MONEY?! Wh... WHY?! YOU CAN LITERALLY MAKE MONEY OUT THIN FUCKING AIR! What the hell do you need CRIMES for at this point?! YOU'RE DONE! That the "W" and go the fuck home! Jesus.
