Ed's Notes: Don't know much about the Character, but form what I do know, if he's not my favorite Robin of all time, he's easily the most bad-ass. No ward came to Batman with more training already under their belt, not to mention a better pedigree: he is the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia la Ghul, making him the grandson of Ra's al Ghul. He's been trained by the League of Assassins since birth, and has held his own in combat against Talia, Red Robin, Red Hood and Nightwing, in spite of his young age.

The writeup above is about 95% identical to Mark's. Tweaked some of the equipment to be more consistent with that of other characters and lowered his hero points to be in line with other Robins, but otherwise they're the same. He does a pretty kick ass job with most of his writeups and you should definitely check out his blog! (One difference... he calls the Character Robin V, but I count chronologically and #5 is Carrie Kelley, by my count.)

First Appearance: Batman #665 (September, 2006)

Ed's Notes: The Red Hood is one of the cooler newer-ish Character in DC of late, IMHO. Basically, Ra's al Ghul used his Lazarus Pit to resurrect Jason Todd, and train him up in the intervening years into a deadly assassin, on par with Batman and Nightwing, physically and skill-wise. The only issue with including him in a game is that for him to have any impact, the game is clearly taking place well AFTER the death of Jason Todd. If you prefer to world build, starting out and writing your own history, as I would, then it will be a while before you could introduce him. But... damn, what an impact that could have!

The write-up above was based mostly of off my friend, Mark Compton's (linked to above.) I changed a few things, tweaked some stats to be more in line with where I thought Jason might be, based on how Dick progress from Robing the Boy Wonder to Nightwing, keeping in mind that Dick was already trained up a bit when he started, while Jason wasn't. I removed one or two things that I believe came from Blood of Heroes, and tweaked the Weapons to be more in line with those on page 123 of the 3rd edition Rulebook. Finally, I ADDED some weapons (and tweaked some others) based on the Writeups.org entry and what I could observe form some snippets of the Under the Red Hood animated movie.

Thanks a ton to Mark, and be sure to check out his blog!

Foe of: Batman

Ed's Notes: Next to Talia, Ra's al Ghul family retainer Ubu is one of his most trusted and loyal servants. Ubu was not a major character per se, but was important enough to be included in Ra's al Ghul's introductory episode ion Batman the Animated Series, and he was brought back in the new 52, so I believe his inclusion here is warranted.
Writeups.org had his Martial Artist at 9, but I fell like that's way too high. At 7 he can handle any soldier or terrorist in the world, but he shouldn't be able to fend off superheroes. They also gave him the Growth Power (rating of 1, Always On) but I didn't think that was necessary.

Ed's Notes: An interesting and conflicted character that could make for a very interesting anti-hero PC.  Her Drawback seals it: She's fine when her father's wishes are "marry Batman," or "bear him a son." What is she supposed to do when he father's wishes are "kill Batman" or "leave him in the desert to die?"  And really, she's not a "foe" of Batman, so much as an unreliable ally. (Which can be even more dangerous at times!) But The Dark Knight Rises portrayed her very differently than the comics did.

As an aside... One of these days I want to run a campaign where Maxima, Star Sapphire and Talia team up and come into town set on marrying Superman, Green Lantern and Batman and won't take "no" for an answer. What's more... I'm not sure who the PC's would even BE in that scenario... the Girls, or the Guys! (Perhaps depends on the gender of the PC's. Lol)

Ed's Notes:  2nd Edition Leaves off his Medicine Skill, all mentions of Invulnerability and lists a lower Wealth, of 15.  Also, in the comics I've seen him in a sword fight with Batman. so it seems like House Rules granting him:

Skills:
Weaponry: 9

...would be appropriate.
